Houston attorney Bill Voss founded The Voss Law Firm, PC, over 10 years ago. Besides his work as an attorney, Bill Voss supports his local chapter of the American Red Cross (ARC).
ARC’s Disaster Action Team is available around the clock to provide relief services to those affected by earthquakes, floods, hurricanes, tornadoes, fires that affect their homes, and a variety of other disasters.
In December 2016, ARC provided assistance when Houston’s Pier Club Apartments, a 16-unit multifamily property, caught on fire. Since the fire occurred two weeks before Christmas, this affected the holiday season for those living there. Many lost all of their possessions. Although the cause of the fire has not yet been identified, firefighters are working to determine if it was heating related and implementing the use of more smoke alarms. ARC is helping to provide for the affected families as they recover from this disastrous event.
